The laws of physics state that two objects cannot occupy the same space at a given time. So now consider this, if we are filled with negative thoughts and emotions is there any space for its counter part – positivity? The answer is NO.
Our attitudes , habits , reactions towards situations and people all put us in one of two slots. Those around us either perceive us as positive or negative influencers. Here it is immaterial of what we perceive of ourselves as many times we tend to be delusional about our abilities and attitude. Our aura (energy field) however carries a signature of our positive/negative persona. If we notice carefully, some people light up a room with their presence in it. Everyone automatically flocks towards them, while some people just give off a BAD VIBE! These good or bad vibes are nothing else but our energy field radiating the positive or negative emotions and attitudes that become an unwitting part of us.
Some people are optimistic by nature. They always look at the brighter side of situations even when the going gets tough. To those individuals I say “kudos”. But what about those among us who tend to be pessimistic or always imagine the worse case scenario? To those people I say “buck up!”
Yes its true lets stop blaming our genes, our up bringing and our lives for having a negative attitude in life. We need to take control and make positive living a way of life not just a failed attempt. Research shows that it takes all of 21 days to alter, or cultivate a habit. So yes 21 days of conditioning can set anyone on a path towards positivity. Just like all habits, being negative is a pattern that we tend to regress towards the minute faced with a tough situation. The key is to STOP, WAIT take a few deep breaths and just ask yourself one simple question.
WHEN A SITUATION IS BEYOND MY CONTROL, WILL I GIVE MY ENERGY TO SOMETHING THAT WILL MAKE ME FEEL WORSE OR WILL I CHOOSE TO JUST LET IT BE FOR A WHILE AND LET THE UNIVERSE GUIDE ME?
That is it! Your first step towards positive living. Make your choice and change the way you approach everything in life. When we choose to approach things in a different manner situations in turn approach us with a change. When the universe sees we are not getting frazzled by the curve balls it is throwing us to put us off balance our lessons go away.
By breaking our patterns of negativity we create patterns of positivity. Good things happen because we have decided now to approach every situation with a smile. Our lessons fade away and stop haunting us. Life greets us not as a test but as a friend who bears gifts.
