Melonade is one of the most ambitious initiative by Writersmelon. It is a country wide creative writing competition which is held during the annual festival in colleges. Last year Melonade saw entries from more than 50 participants from various colleges like IIM-A, MICA, MSU Baroda, IIFT,IIT, IMI, FORE – Delhi , BIM Sonipath, XLRI Jamshedpur, IBS Hyderabad & LIBA Chennai. A foreign debutant author “KARL” judged the event along with a panel of Indian avid readers.

Melonade '10 - Judging
The top 3 entries for Melonade'10 was adjudged by Karl Vadaszffy.Karl is trained as an English teacher and an actor. He has edited magazines, taught English as a foreign language and is currently the Head of English at a school in Hertfordshire.As a freelance journalist, his articles regularly appear in seven magazines.
His debut book “Full of Sin” are getting great reviews from all over.
The Qualifying Entries in this event was judged by some of the distinguished Melonites.They come from diverse backgrounds & not only have professional writing claims to make but are also avid readers and enjoy rhyming and blogging in their (not so) secret red diaries and (not that ) solitary blogs.
